This workshop is for any single or multi-pitch climber who wishes to be able to solve crag problems, or take their climbing to more adventurous venues. The course will include instruction on pulley systems, hoisting and lowering, traverse problems, ascending and descending, anticipating problems, escaping from the system, crag evacuation, and much more.
As the techniques may be coached in a realistic situation a full understanding of leading and crag communication will be essential. You should already be able to lead unsupervised; the grade is irrelevant. The emphasis will be on individuals experimenting with skills learned, enabling greater learning and faster application.
