Born and raised in Hong Kong to mixed-race parents, Zanskar Blair has always had a deep-rooted love for Asia and its diverse cultures. His passion for the outdoors and high-energy pursuits has shaped his life and career. An adrenaline junkie at heart, Zanskar thrives in sports and outdoor activities, including football—having played at both the U.S. college level and professionally—mountain and road biking, rock climbing, paddle sports, and more.
As the Manager of APA’s Open Enrolment Division, Zanskar oversees all holiday season programs under Camp APA, private programs, events, and APA’s latest initiative, APA Gap Programs. He is a firm believer in the transformative power of experiential learning, whether through outdoor adventures or immersive cultural activities. Zanskar is passionate about equipping youth and young adults with opportunities to grow, build resilience, and find inspiration to make a positive impact in the world.
A natural connector, Zanskar enjoys meeting new people and forging lasting relationships through shared experiences. He values the exchange of stories, knowledge, and perspectives, which he believes are essential for personal growth and for building a better, more empathetic world.
