Francisco Javier Maldonado Solana (Javi)

Originally from Guadalajara, México, Francisco Javier Maldonado Solana (Javi) is a passionate outdoor educator who believes that outdoor activities are the most powerful tool to teach knowledge, build character, and instil lifelong values. With a BSc in Biology and years of field experience, he combines scientific expertise with adventure to create unforgettable learning journeys for students of all ages.

For Javier, the jungles, mountains, coastline or deserts are not just settings – they are living classrooms where curiosity, resilience, teamwork, and respect for nature come alive. He leads dynamic programs in environmental science, high elements, bushcraft, kayaking, raft building, climbing, abseiling sessions, always with safety, inclusion, and inspiration at the core.

Javier is dedicated to giving every child exciting, hands-on experiences that spark a genuine connection with the natural world.

When he’s not leading, you’ll find him out in the wilderness – always chasing the next trail, wave, or summit.
