Program Itinerary
Program Theme:
Trekkers of the Lost Island: A Nature Quest Fueled by Curiosity, Teamwork, and the Spirit of Exploration
Campers join the legendary journey of Elara Storme, uncovering clues, solving challenges, and earning emblems that reflect the values of courage, curiosity, and respect for nature—becoming true guardians of a magical, hidden island.
?️ Day 1 – The Map is Discovered & Waterfall of Whispers
? Location: Tai Tam Tuk
The adventure begins! Campers are introduced to the mysterious story of Elara Storme and the legend of The Lost Island.

Creative Icebreakers – Campers learn about Elara’s final journey and form their expedition squads.

Scenic Stream Hike – A guided walk to the magical “Waterfall of Whispers,” where the first clue is discovered.

Nature Scavenger Hunt – Campers work together to collect symbols hidden in the environment.

Team Challenges – Fun games to build trust, cooperation, and squad identity.
? Story Progression: At the waterfall, strange markings match those from the map. Could this be the beginning of the path to the island?
? Day 2 – Paddle to the Cliffs of Echoes
? Location: Lobster Bay & Green Egg Island
Trekkers take to the sea in search of the next clue—beneath the waves and among the rocks.

Kayaking Expedition – A beginner-friendly paddle along the coastline, with stops to explore hidden inlets.

Water Balloon & Balance Games – Lighthearted kayak challenges that teach coordination and teamwork.

Snorkeling Discovery – Campers search for underwater symbols and coral patterns, guided by instructors.

Expedition Journaling – Quiet time to reflect on discoveries and sketch the day’s findings.
? Day 3 – Secrets Beneath the Surface
? Location: South End of Sharp Island
The Guardian’s legend comes alive underwater, and campers learn how to observe and respect life below the surface.
- Scuba Introduction or Shallow Dive Demo – A safe, age-appropriate introduction to breathing underwater (pool or shallow sea).
- Guided Snorkeling Games – Marine-themed scavenger hunts and “spot the species” challenges.
- Coral Art Creation – Using beach-safe materials, campers recreate reef patterns to reflect marine biodiversity.
- Storytime – The tale of the Island Guardian is shared—who watches over nature’s secrets and tests those who seek them.
? Day 4 – Tools of the Ancients & Gorge Trek Challenge
? Location: Aberdeen Country Park
Back on land, it’s time to build tools —just like real explorers.
- Arts & Craft – Campers design their own pinewood medallion
- Treasure Chest Challenge – Teams design and protect their own group “chests” using creativity and strategy.
- Gorge Trek Challenge – Teams embark on a thrilling trek to summit the gorge while protecting their precious cargo. Can they conquer the terrain and outthink the competition?
- Story Circle – Campers share theories about Elara’s map and what the clues might mean.
? Day 5 – Island Games & Final Clue Challenge
? Location: Shek O Beach
It all comes together in a high-energy finale filled with excitement, celebration, and a final test.

CAMP APA Summer Olympics – A morning of obstacle courses, beach relays, and squad-based games.

Final Map Puzzle – Trekkers must combine all their clues to find and open the mysterious Guardian’s Vault.

Closing Ceremony – Storytelling, squad celebrations, certificate presentation, and group photo.
