Rammaya’s remarkable story is how in her first international trail running race in 2025 she ran away from the field in one of Asia’s most competitive 50km events and broke the course record in the process. A week later she had her first sponsorship and is not looking back. Rammaya is from a remote village in Jumla region of Nepal and like her legendary older sister got her start with the local Karnali running club.
