Program Itinerary
Program Theme: Hong Kong Ship and Sea Culture
Day 1 – Voyage Begins: Team Missions & Tug Boat Crafting
?Location: Sai Kung Country Park
Your journey begins! Step into the wild with your new expedition crew:
• Icebreakers & introductions to spark connections
• Short hike to Base Camp, carrying personal expedition packs
• Canoe Session 1: Learn essential paddling skills, strokes & self-rescue drills
• Team initiatives and fun leadership challenges to build unity
• Group lunch and outdoor cooking basics
• Watercraft Workshop: Start building a tug boat using bamboo, barrels, and rope—an homage to Hong Kong’s iconic harbor vessels
• Sunset paddle & swim: test your skills and cool off after a big day
• Team-cooked dinner
• Evening: Map reading workshop + Expedition briefing
• Set team goals, roles, and expedition code of conduct
Day 2 – Eco Action Day: Tug Boats & Plastic Impact Study
?Location: Sai Kung Country Park
Today, your crew takes on the responsibility of environmental guardians:

Finalize your team-built watercraft and ensure it’s seaworthy

Team-prepared lunch at base
- Eco-Paddle Expedition: Canoe out with your tug boat in tow to collect marine debris around local coves and beaches

Return to analyze and sort plastic waste

Reflective Plastic Impact Study: Understand the lifecycle of waste, the roles of corporations, and what youth can do to shift the tide

Day 3 – Paddle Expedition Launch: Into the Blue

It’s time to put your skills to the test—your multi-day expedition begins:

Depart Base Camp and navigate by canoe through open waters

Stop for traditional fishing workshop with local fishermen

Snorkeling stop: explore marine life and appreciate biodiversity firsthand

Land at a remote seaside campsite and set up camp

Day 4 – Open Water Challenge & Return Voyage
