– Ernest Shackleton
Navigator Camps are designed for the age group to improve their technical and soft skills as they progress through the week. They will navigate through different areas of Hong Kong using water as a medium. Giant SUP, Kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard will be our way to venture into the waters while developing paddling skills. Teamwork, leadership, resilience, and risk-taking are some of the aspects they will build on throughout the week.
Itinerary (Navigator Overnight Camp)

Day 1
Teams will head to Sai Kung for the day and engage in a series of team building challenges developed to promote their social skills as well as getting to know their new teammates. Participants will then learn to kayak before heading off on a journey around spectacular bays of Sai Kung. At the end of the day participants will get a chance to cool off with some jetty jumps into the ocean refreshing water. After arriving at the accommodation and showering, participants will help with dinner preparations before an evening activity and settling into dorms.
Day 2
Teams will hike to Lai Chi Chong to discover the unique geological features of the volcanic rocks in the area. They will also see the mangrove communities and learn about the importance of these natural habitats. Teams will also learn some fundamental bushcraft skills to survive in the wilderness. The group will then head back to their overnight accommodation for the evening.

Day 3
Teams will take a short walk to Hoi Ha Wan where they will spend the day exploring the marine park on stand up paddleboards. After developing their SUP skills, participants will paddle out with their snorkeling equipment to discover underwater marine life in Hoi Ha Wan. The group will then head back to their overnight accommodation for the evening.
Day 4
Teams will head to Sai Wan Pavilion for a day of gorge trekking through a spectacular natural gorge. Before heading into the gorge, participants will learn various techniques for trekking and scrambling on rocky terrain. They will also learn how to use fixed lines to traverse through certain sections using a via ferrata system. Teams will have a chance to take a swim in the freshwater rock pools before continuing the rest of their journey. The group will then head back to their overnight accommodation for the evening.
