Itinerary (Explorer’s Navigation Challenge – 3 days)

Tai Au Mun – Coasteering & Kite Making

Participants will head to Tai Au Mun in Clearwater Bay for their first day of camp. While there, participants will have the chance to take part in a scenic Coaster around the coastlines of Clearwater Bay while looking out into the vast South China Sea. In the afternoon, participants will spend time working on their creativity in a kite making session and the day will end with a test flight of their creations.

Aberdeen Country Park – Ginger Flower Stream Scramble & Exploration

Participants will head to Aberdeen Country Park for a day of team building initiatives and will have the opportunity to explore one of the more secluded streams in Hong Kong. While there, participants will discover local flora and fauna that reside within the stream and will learn how to walk and scramble safely on rocky terrain and work together as a team to navigate through the stream . Team building initiatives are designed to help participants develop social skills and to provide an opportunity for them to work closely with their new friends

Victoria Peak – Navigation & Hike

The program will end with a student-led hike from Victoria Peak to Victoria Garden on Hong Kong Island. Before we start the hike, participants will have the opportunity to learn basic navigation and map-reading skills – both these skills will be useful for determining the correct trails that the teams will be hiking along throughout the day. Once we arrive at Victoria Garden, participants will enjoy some light team-building activities before we wrap up the program with a certificate presentation
