Teaching children about the natural world should be treated as one of the most important events in their lives.

Thomas Berry

The Explorer Camps are designed for younger ones to explore nature and the outdoors with old and new friends. They learn new skills, explore the natural surroundings and the wildlife around them while gaining knowledge and experience. While on Camp, they will learn to be independent, organized and build self-confidence in the company of their friends.

Itinerary (Day Camp)

Day 1

In the natural surroundings of Sai Kung, they will engage in fun team activities while learning about each other and developing social skills. Creative art is one of the best ways to explore their own creativity. There’s nothing more fun than jumping off the jetty into the refreshing water in the hot summer of Hong Kong. On the Giant Stand Up Paddleboard they will learn to paddle with their own team, race, and enjoy the ocean.

Day 2

Teams will head to Ma On Shan area and will explore the Gorge/Canyon. They will learn to Scramble through the gorge while helping each other along the way. They will learn about the natural process of water filtration and will get involved in making one themselves. Once they have completed the gorge, they will learn the basic skills of shelter building and will get an opportunity to build one with their teams.

Day 3

Teams will spend a day exploring Lantau as they discover a beautiful waterfall area. They will explore the surrounding stream while carrying out a freshwater study. They will end the day on a beach in Lantau and enjoy a dip in the ocean to cool off with their friends.

Day 4
