With options to choose from Day Camps to Overnight Camps, the Adventurer Programs runs through every week of our Camp APA Summer schedule. Our focus is on strengthening participants’ sense of adventure and enjoying the great outdoors of Hong Kong while being amongst friends. As participants progress through different outdoor activities, they would build self-awareness, self-confidence and improve their social skills.

Itinerary (Day Camp)

Day 1

In the natural surroundings of Sai Kung, the day will kick off with fun team activities while learning about each other and improving social skills. There’s nothing more fun than jumping off the jetty into the refreshing water in the summer. Participants will then learn basic paddling skills and jump into our kayaks for a fun day of paddling. Participants will paddle for the day with their friends and end the day with some more jetty jumps to end the day on a fun note!

Day 2

As participants head to Lamma Island, they will learn more about paddling skills. On this day, they will learn how to build a raft and paddle on the raft while working together with their friends. In the second half of the day, they will learn how to paddle on a Giant Stand Up Paddleboard with their own team, race, and enjoy the ocean.

Day 3

Participants will go to Sharp Island using a ferry. They will use their new found paddling skills to paddle their GSUP in the area to explore. They will learn how to Snorkel in a Coral protected area. Snorkeling in the marine reserve is one of the best ways to see different marine species in Hong Kong’s pristine waters.

Day 4

To progress and build their paddling skills further, participants will review their kayaking skills. They will learn how to travel on kayaks and will go on a paddling journey for the day exploring the surrounding area in Sai kung.

Day 5

On the final day, teams will head to Mui Wo in Lantau Island. Here they have to utilize all the skills learned throughout the camp and work together to complete as many tasks possible in the beautiful beach of Mui Wo. The day’s theme is for Teams to come together and have fun while going through various challenges together.
