“The greatest adventure is what lies ahead.”

– JRR Tolkien

Our focus is on strengthening participants’ sense of adventure and enjoying the great outdoors of Hong Kong. As participants progress through different outdoor activities, they would build self-awareness, self-confidence and improve their social skills.

Itinerary (Day Camp)

Day 1

Participants will head into Tai tam country park for their first day of adventure.  The day will start off with ice-breaking activities as they will engage in challenges developed to promote their social skills as well as getting to know their new teammates. Teams will learn map and compass skills and navigate around the country park while exploring the natural habitat.

Day 2

Participants will go to Braemar hill for a day of exploration. The teams would be utilising the skills from the day before to scramble through the stream with the added element of water. As they progress through the day, they would get an opportunity to learn about the water cycle and try their hand on making water filters on their own.

Day 3

Ap lei chau is well known for its highland and rock features. This day will be full of scrambling and climbing along the natural rock faces. Teams will coasteer their way to Ap lei pai and take on some beautiful rock faces while challenging their personal fear and managing it while giving their shot at rock climbing.

Day 4

Participants will head to the highlands of Shek O. One of the team will move straight to face their fears as they will abseil down the natural rock face on the highland. The other group would do search and rescue based activity, build stature out of rope and gain understanding of functioning as a team and performing under a certain pressure. The group will switch activity after they have their go!

Day 5

Final day group will be on Tung Lung Island where groups will take part in a high element challenge on a natural rock face. Tung Lung Island is a well known rock climbing site in Hong Kong and groups will get a chance to test their skills in the Tyrolean Traverse while enjoying an epic view of the South China Sea. There will also be a search and rescue scenario testing their skill learnt from yesterday to tackle their day out on a remote island!
