Our focus is on strengthening participants’ sense of adventure and enjoying the great outdoors of Hong Kong. As participants progress through different outdoor activities, they would build self-awareness, self-confidence and improve their social skills..

The exact order of activity days and locations may vary for each individual camp and registered participants should refer to the itinerary in their Information Pack for the most accurate itinerary.

Itinerary (Adventurer Rock and Water Camp)

Chung Hom Kok – Rock Climbing & Hike

Participants will head to Chung Hom Kok for an exciting day of rock climbing and hiking. Upon arrival at the climbing site, participants will receive a thorough introduction to rock climbing and get to engage in the exhilarating climbing session afterwards. In the afternoon participants will explore the Chung Hom Kok headland and the interesting rock formations in the area.

Ap Lei Pai – Tyrolean Traverse & Island Discovery

Participants will continue with their high element adventure by visiting the stunning island of Ap Lei Pai. The location is between the East Lamma Channel and Aberdeen Channel which boasts a stunning 360 degree view of the Southern District and the vast open sea. In order to reach the high element location, participants will venture through an Island Hike where they will be able to take in the stunning views before going through an introduction to Tyrolean Traverse. Once complete, participants will challenge themselves by taking part in the Tyrolean Traverse with crashing waves beneath them.

Tai Tam Waterfront – Giant SUP & Mangroves Exploration

Participants will head to Tai Tam Waterfront, a beautiful sheltered bay for water activities. Before taking to the waters, participants will go through a thorough safety briefing regarding Personal Floatation Devices and an introduction to paddling skills. Once complete, participants will learn to work together as a team to paddle on a Giant Stand up Paddleboard, as well as enjoy various team games on the water. In the afternoon participants will make their way to a vast mangrove area where they will learn about the importance of mangroves not just to the local area, but the ecosystems and habitats that they provide to wildlife.

Trio Beach – Coasteering & Beach Swim

Teams will visit one of the more remote public beaches in Sai Kung, Trio Beach. Teams will then familiarize themselves with coasteering safety and spotting techniques before they head off on a coasteering journey across the scenic coastline. Along the way participants will be treated to a wonderful view of local villages, fishing pens, mountains and the open ocean before finishing on Trio Beach. In the afternoon participants will have the chance to cool off in the water with beach games and a swimming session to finish off the day.

Hoi Ha Wan – Kayaking & Raft Building

Teams will head to Hoi Ha Marine Reserve for a day of marine activities at the tip of Sai Kung Country Park. Participants will learn to kayak along the sheltered bay of Hoi Ha, practicing fundamental paddling skills and building their confidence in a kayak. In the afternoon, participants will use their problem solving skills to design and build their own raft using basic materials before testing and racing their raft against each other. Throughout the day participants will come across marine life indigenous to Hoi Ha Marine Reserve and will help clean up the waters during their paddling session.
