Champion System Adventure wraps up the fall season by smashing more records
Stone.trailChampion System Adventure have ended another solid year by smashing three more trail running records in Hong Kong.  The team, which has members based around Asia Pacific, has always focused on Hong Kong’s trail running calendar due to the quality of well-run events and arguably the most competitive group of trail running athletes in the region.

First in October, Stone Tsang Sui Kung took a huge victory in the Salomon 2 Peaks race that featured nearly 1,000 runners this year. Stone beat an extremely competitive field and broke a tough course record by a few minutes.   Soon after, this was then followed by a 1-2 finish by Ryan S. Blair and Stone Tsang Sui Kung in MOONTREKKER, a new event with over 700 runners in just its second year. Ryan took 21 minutes off last years course record for the 40km race, finishing in 4 hrs 9 minutes.

Another highlight of the fall season was team member Ryan S. Blair’s invitation to race in Zunyi China with 2010’s expedition adventure racing world champions, Team Buff from France/Spain. The team had a great race against an international field and took a close second behind a team made up of Wu Long & World champions. Ryan commented, “to step in and be able help Buff for this one event was a lot of fun and greatly rewarding for me to see how close the top level of sprint and stage-format adventure racing in Asia is to Europe and the USA right now.”
